Education & Training

Dr. Falcone earned her medical degree with Highest Distinction from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physiology from the same institution.

She completed her transitional internship in internal medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, followed by a comprehensive three-year ophthalmology residency at Boston University Medical Center, where she received an award for dedicated service.

Dr. Falcone completed advanced fellowship training in ophthalmic reconstruction and orbital surgery at the New England Eye Center, Tufts University School of Medicine, specializing in cosmetic and functional eyelid procedures, orbital surgery, and facial aesthetics.

Academic & Clinical Leadership

For over a decade, Dr. Falcone served as Assistant Professor and Director of Oculoplastics and Orbital Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her academic appointments extended across multiple disciplines, including clinical faculty positions in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Dermatology, reflecting her comprehensive expertise in facial and periocular conditions.

She also served as Co-Chair of the Department of Surgery Wellness Committee, demonstrating her commitment to both patient care and the well-being of medical professionals. Additionally, Dr. Falcone has served as a consultant reviewer for the Connecticut Department of Public Health and provides policy review consultation for University of Connecticut Health.
